Caitlyn E. McCann was admitted to the Ontario Bar in June 2017.
Caitlyn grew up in Barrie and has a deep and ongoing focus as a community volunteer. Caitlyn has spear-headed countless charity events in the city with proceeds going to various local charities, including the Women & Children’s Shelter, the RVH Pediatric Ward, la Maison Rosewood, the David Busby Centre, the Barrie Food Bank, and the Barrie branch of the Canadian Cancer Society.
After articling on Bay Street and practicing as a Junior Associate with Kerbel & Wickramasinge LLP, Caitlyn has returned to Barrie to practice with Barrie Family Law and Wiegand Law. She has appeared at all levels of court, including the Ontario Court of Appeal. She is a serious and hard-working advocate for her clients both in and out of court. Caitlyn has a developed interest in advocacy and bridging the gap between individuals and the legal system and focuses on getting her clients the resources and results they need.
